By accessing or using REKOD ("the Service"), you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

These Terms apply to all users of the Service — including Shop Owners, Senior Cashiers, and Cashiers. Continued use of the Service after any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

REKOD is a shop management application built specifically for Market traders and small business Owners. The Service provides tools for:

Sales recording — track every transaction in real time

Stock and inventory management — monitor product levels and receive low-stock alerts

Profit reporting — understand revenue, cost of goods sold, and gross profit

Team management — invite and manage staff with role-based access

Credit (debt) management — track customers who buy on credit

Daily reconciliation — balance your cash drawer at end of each trading day

PDF report generation — download and share business reports

The Service is accessible via mobile devices and personal computers.

3.1 Registration

To use the Service, you must register an account using a valid email address, which serves as your unique platform identifier. Only one account may be registered per email address.

3.2 Account Security

You are solely responsible for safeguarding your password and login credentials. You are fully liable for all activities that occur under your account. If you become aware of any unauthorized access or security breach, you must notify us immediately through the in-app support chat.

3.3 Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate and current information during registration and to keep your account details up to date.

4.1 Shop Owners (Administrators)

As the Shop Owner, you have full administrative control over your digital shop on REKOD. This includes adding products, setting prices, inviting staff, managing business records, and accessing all reports. You are solely responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and legality of all data entered into your shop.

4.2 Senior Cashiers

Senior Cashiers may make sales and view the shop dashboard, including overall revenue and profit summaries. Their access is limited to what the Shop Owner has assigned.

4.3 Cashiers

Cashiers may only record sales. They cannot access the full dashboard, reports, or staff management. All actions recorded by a Cashier are tied to their profile for accountability.

4.4 Staff Conduct

Staff members are expected to use the Service honestly and in the interest of their employer. Falsifying records, deleting sales without authorization, or any misuse of the Service is a violation of these Terms and may be reported to the Shop Owner.

5.1 Your Data is Yours

All data generated through your use of the Service — including sales records, product lists, stock levels, customer credit entries, and business reports ("User Data") — remains your sole property. REKOD does not claim ownership of your User Data.

5.2 Data Export

You may access and export your User Data at any time through the app's reporting and download features.

5.3 Data Accuracy

You are responsible for the accuracy of data you enter into the Service. REKOD reports and calculations are only as accurate as the data you provide.

The Service — including its design, features, algorithms, branding, and source code (but excluding your User Data) — is and remains the exclusive property of REKOD and its licensors, protected under applicable local and international intellectual property laws.

Our name, logo, and trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

You agree to use the Service solely for the legitimate, lawful operation of your business. You must not:

• Use the Service for any illegal, fraudulent, or deceptive purpose

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or the Service's infrastructure

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the Service's code

• Use the Service to store or transmit malicious software

• Engage in any conduct that disrupts or interferes with the Service's normal operation

• Share your account credentials with unauthorized parties

Violation of this policy may result in immediate account termination.

8.1 By You

You may stop using the Service at any time. If you wish to permanently delete your account, contact us via the in-app support chat.

8.2 By REKOD

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service. For minor or non-severe breaches, we will generally provide reasonable notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue. For serious breaches — including engaging in illegal activity, fraud, or repeated policy violations — we may terminate your account immediately without prior notice.

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including data ownership, intellectual property, and limitation of liability) will continue to apply.

9.1 Availability

We strive to keep REKOD operational at all times, including under conditions of limited internet connectivity. However, the Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from security vulnerabilities.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, REKOD is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including financial loss or data loss — arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

9.3 Our Commitment

While we disclaim liability for technical events beyond our control, we are committed to restoring service quickly and communicating openly in the event of any significant disruption.

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through the app or via the contact information associated with your account, and we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

By continuing to use the Service after revisions take effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service.

11.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

11.2 Dispute Resolution

We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any dispute informally. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of applicable courts.

11.3 Contact

For any questions about these Terms, reach us via the in-app support chat. We read and respond to every message.
